Our STEM Programs

We provide week long camps, day long seminars, and manufacturing field trips to expose girls to manufacturing, design, engineering and innovation.

Camps

Nuts, Bolts and Thing-a-ma-gigs is a two week long camp currently running during the summer. Building from scratch and showcasing their products is all part of the experience.

Design + Build

No kits or instructions here so your girls need to bring their engineering A game. The design is completely up to them, and then we work with them to make it a reality.

Partner Events

Every good mission includes a village. We provide you with information to keep the creative engines in your children running on high and developing with events to feed their inspiration.

Lake Park High School has just completed it's third annual GADgET camp. We are so grateful to the instructors for providing such a wonderful and enriching learning experience for the middle-school girls in our district. GADgET opens the eyes of these young ladies to a whole of world of educational and career opportunities centered around the world of STEAM.

GADgET students complete a variety of projects which may involve robotics, hydraulics and electronics, just to name a few. They also have the opportunity to visit manufacturing facilities, and to engage with female guest speakers within industry and engineering. Perhaps most important, though, is the capstone activity-which asks students to use the engineering and design concepts they've learned to create a "gadget" of their own. This has resulted in some truly amazing projects! Each summer our parents and community look forward to another GADgET camp. It's been a fantastic addition to our programming!
